Mein Kampf – or my struggle, is just Hitler yapping about how much his life sucked and how he hated and admired his dad. He just constantly repeated everything he said, and all while somehow become more and more antisemitic. I do not know how you can go from here’s how I think a better government should be structures to here’s how to kill an entire minority group within 5 pages. My chapters I had to read were all about how he would restructure and make his government. He discusses how he wants to make this amazing government that rules the people, but later is very clear to distinguish that the people are Aryans and not actually the whole demographic of Germany. I also had the chapter that discusses Eugenics and weirdly cultural things. I don’t know most days even how to dissect his book because it just feels like Hitler was never said no as a child and so he just thinks he is completely correct in all ways and its just weird. He definitely has some issues – as no one just starts a holocaust just because – and also because of his own weird contradictions and lifestyle.
