The Protocols of the Elders of Zion was created to cause more Jewish hatred. Zionist wrote and spewed lies upon lies that the Jewish community was a terrible group of people just trying to have full world domination. A lot of people, for whatever reason, truly believed these lies and even worse spread them amongst others. Jews were blamed for causing ills in the society they were in, so people felt like they should get rid of the “root of the problem”. This is supposedly the most influential piece of antisemitism text, hence why people were losing their minds over it, so much so that most would say this is one of the leading causes to the Holocaust. I guess you can say sticks, stones, and words definitely can hurt and do terrible damages to peoples mental and physical. Another thing believed to be done by the Jews was during Freemasonry congregations they would talk about wiping out all Christians. So in the text it also would say how they need to get rid of these secret meetings happening because the Jews were “plotting and planning” against the European government and church. This isn’t the only time Jews have been blamed for something. Jews have been blamed for the black plague, mental illnesses, and really anything that people couldn’t find an actual explanation as to why it is happening. People would just look for anyone reason they could find that somehow made sense to them or maybe made them feel as if they were cleansing the world to feel valid for hurting a group of people. Some years after World War One happened, teachers in Germany started to teach the Protocols of the Elders of Zion in their classes. Even though these claims were clearly false and were even proven to be false. Many antisemitic people still live by what this book says which is absolutely absurd and insane. It still caused and causes hate crimes towards Jewish people regularly.
