After doing the assigned reading of Mein Kampf, I have some points of thought. Some things that I was surprised about in the overall text was the way in which Hitler used the book to truly get into the brains of the population and draw them into his twisted views. A time in the book where this is especially apparent is in Chapter Ten when Hitler is talking about how long it is going to take the entire population to have pure Arian blood. Something in the book that reminds me of today’s day in age is the obvious deep hatred within this ideology. I believe that this is very much still here in the United States to this day through numerous antisemitic groups. Some of the major elements on Hitler’s thoughts where deeply rooted in the extremist side of the right. As it was discussed, it was actually a decent amount of time before Hitler fell into the rabbit hole of extremist ideals. At first, he was really quite reluctant to join this following. Yet only in a matter of time would it take for him to become one of the most influential world controllers, whether that be for good or worse.
